We arrive in full protective gear and conduct a thorough inspection of your property to locate all wasp nests and activity zones. For example, we check common summer nesting sites like eaves, shrubs, structure corners, wall voids, attics, and in-ground areas where yellowjackets often establish colonies and become more aggressive while foraging for food during peak season.

We apply a targeted knockdown treatment using professional-grade products like PT Wasp Freeze and Tempo Dust to neutralize the nest and eliminate active wasps on contact. In August, as wasps become desperate for food sources before summer and cluster tight around their nests, we focus on thorough saturation of the colony structure whether it’s tucked under an eave, buried in the ground, or hidden inside a wall void to ensure complete elimination of the aggressive late-season population.

After eliminating the active wasp population, we return within 7-10 days to remove the neutralized nest structure and apply a long-lasting residual barrier treatment using products like Bithor SC or Termidor SC to all former nesting sites and surrounding areas. This follow-up is critical in August because any surviving foragers attempting to return to the destroyed colony will contact the treated surfaces and perish, while the residual protection prevents opportunistic wasps from establishing new nests in the same vulnerable spots as temperatures drop and ideal nesting locations become scarce before summer.
