We begin with a detailed inspection of your property to identify termite activity and assess the extent of any infestation. Our licensed technician examines both the interior and exterior of your home, paying close attention to areas where moisture accumulates and wood contacts soil.
For example, we inspect crawl spaces for mud tubes along foundation walls, check wooden support beams for hollow-sounding damage, and examine areas around plumbing penetrations where dampwood termites often establish colonies in the Pacific Northwest’s warm summer conditions.

After identifying termite activity and damage, we implement a targeted treatment strategy based on the species and severity of infestation. For subterranean termites, we install Trelona ATBS bait stations every 10 to 20 linear feet around your foundation perimeter and apply liquid termiticide through trenching along the foundation walls.
In August, when Pacific Northwest soil retains moisture from summer irrigation and occasional rains, we take advantage of these moisture conditions to ensure deep penetration of our termiticide treatments into the subsoil, creating a protective barrier that termites transfer back to their colony through shared travel paths and direct contact with nestmates.

Following treatment application, we return for scheduled monitoring visits to inspect all Trelona ATBS bait stations and assess colony elimination progress. During these summer inspections, we document termite feeding activity within each station and track consumption patterns, which indicate whether the active ingredient is being transferred throughout the colony structure.
We continue monitoring until stations show zero activity for consecutive visits, confirming complete colony elimination. Our technicians also re-inspect the foundation perimeter and previously identified damage areas to verify no new mud tubes have formed and that the liquid termiticide barrier remains intact around your home’s substructure.
