About us

Protecting Your Home From Mosquitoes Year-Round

We understand that mosquitoes can turn your outdoor spaces from relaxing retreats into no-go zones. At PCI Pest Control, we’ve developed a comprehensive mosquito treatment program that targets these pests at every stage of their lifecycle.

Our approach combines biological breeding-site stations with barrier treatments to deliver results that last. We don’t just spray and leave. We identify standing water sources, treat breeding areas with slow-release larvicides, and apply EPA-registered adulticides to vegetation and harborage zones where adult mosquitoes rest.

What sets us apart is our commitment to ongoing protection through monthly service visits throughout the active mosquito season. During each visit, we refresh breeding-site stations, re-treat standing water, and reapply barrier treatments to keep your property protected throughout mosquito season.

We offer flexible service tiers to match your needs and budget. Our Standard Plan focuses on breeding-site maintenance and standing water treatment, while our Plus Plan includes fresh barrier spray at every visit with complimentary callbacks for high activity periods.

Every treatment we perform is family and pet-friendly once dried, typically within 60 minutes. Our barrier sprays bond to foliage and remain effective even after moderate rainfall, giving you consistent protection between visits.

Whether you need season-long mosquito control or a one-time treatment before an outdoor event, we have the expertise and technology to help you reclaim your yard.

Our Process

Our Process: Protecting Your Yard From Mosquitoes

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

We begin with a detailed exterior inspection of your property to identify mosquito breeding sites and resting areas. For example, we check for standing water in gutters, flower pots, bird baths, and low-lying areas where summer rains create ideal breeding conditions.

During this first visit, we place one or more biological breeding-site stations that release slow-acting larvicide to sterilize mosquito larvae before they mature. We also treat any standing water that cannot be drained and apply a low-volume barrier mist to vegetation, shaded zones, and under decks where adult mosquitoes rest during hot summer temperatures.

We treat pests where they live

During the second visit, we service and refresh all biological breeding-site stations to ensure continuous larvicide release throughout the property. In August, as temperatures rise and mosquito activity peaks in the Pacific Northwest, we focus on treating any remaining standing water and reapplying barrier treatment to vegetation and shaded resting areas where mosquitoes seek shelter from the heat.

For customers on our Plus Plan, we deliver a fresh barrier spray at every monthly visit to maintain protection against late-season mosquito activity. We also inspect for new breeding sites that may have developed since the initial treatment, such as clogged gutters or low-lying areas that collect water during August’s frequent rainfall.

We report our findings, and create a plan

During the third visit, we conduct a final inspection to verify that all breeding sites remain controlled and barrier protection stays effective through the end of mosquito season. Throughout the peak summer season in the Pacific Northwest, we maintain biological stations, treat any pockets of standing water, and apply barrier treatment to vegetation where mosquito eggs may be present.

For Plus Plan customers, we deliver one last comprehensive barrier spray to ensure protection extends through any unexpected warm spells that can trigger late-season hatching. We also provide recommendations for summer property maintenance, such as clearing gutters and addressing drainage issues before summer rains return, so your property stays prepared when mosquito season resumes in August.

Questions we get from our customers' and our answers.

How does mosquito treatment actually work?

Breeding-site stations paired with foliage treatment form the core approach.

The barrier spray bonds to foliage well enough to withstand moderate rain, though heavy storms can shorten how long it lasts.

What happens during an initial mosquito inspection?

The first visit maps out standing water and shaded resting spots before applying treatment.

Is a one-time mosquito treatment available for events?

A single-visit option exists for events, applied a day or two beforehand.

What can be done between visits to help mosquito control?

Clearing containers and low-lying water between visits reduces new breeding opportunities.
