Our Flea Treatment Process: Fast, Thorough, Effective Relief

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

We begin every flea treatment by requiring all pets to receive professional flea treatment before our arrival. This critical first step ensures we’re not just treating the environment while pets continue to reintroduce fleas into your home.

For example, if your dog or cat hasn’t been treated by a veterinarian with a quality flea control product, any treatment we apply will only provide temporary relief as adult fleas continue laying eggs after feeding on untreated animals.

We treat pests where they live

Once your pets have received professional flea treatment, we apply a comprehensive interior treatment using liquid residual insecticides to all baseboards, cracks, and crevices throughout your home. We follow this with targeted aerosol applications to floors, carpeted areas, pet resting spots, and upholstered furniture where flea eggs and larvae hide in the fibers.

Summer’s warmth drives fleas into your home’s cool, shaded interior spaces, making thorough treatment of these protected areas critical since adult fleas and their developing stages concentrate in cool, shaded rooms where your pets spend most of their time during the summer months.

We report our findings, and create a plan

For the final step, we return 5-7 days after the initial treatment to inspect your home and assess the results. We check all previously treated areas for any remaining flea activity, paying close attention to carpeted zones, pet bedding areas, and furniture where pupae may have emerged since our first visit, and we apply additional targeted treatments to any spots showing continued activity since summer’s warm indoor conditions can accelerate the flea life cycle and cause delayed hatching from the pupal stage.
