Our Bed Bug Treatment Process: Thorough and Effective

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

We begin with a thorough inspection of your entire bedroom, examining every crack, crevice, and hiding spot where bed bugs congregate. For example, we inspect mattress seams, box springs, bed frames, baseboards, furniture joints, electrical outlets, and even picture frames, since bed bugs can squeeze into spaces as thin as a credit card.

During summer months when bed bugs remain active indoors regardless of warmer outdoor temperatures, we look for live bugs, shed skins, fecal spots, and eggs to determine the severity of your infestation and create a targeted treatment plan. We require no preparation from you, so leave your beds, furniture, and belongings exactly as they are.

We treat pests where they live

We apply Transport Mikron to every crack, crevice, and hiding spot where bed bugs shelter, including mattress seams, box springs, bed frames, baseboards, furniture joints, and even electrical outlets. This residual insecticide creates a protective barrier that eliminates bed bugs on contact and continues working for weeks, targeting adults, nymphs, and eggs throughout their lifecycle.

During August when indoor heating systems create the warm, stable temperatures bed bugs prefer, we follow the initial application with a secondary ULV fogging treatment using Pyrethrin at concentrations of 1% or greater to penetrate deep into furniture and structural voids. We also use Nuvan aerosol as a flushing agent when needed to drive hidden bed bugs from their harborages into treated areas, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout your bedroom.

We report our findings, and create a plan

We return 5-7 days after the initial treatment to inspect for any remaining bed bug activity and apply a comprehensive follow-up application of Transport Mikron via ULV equipment. This ultra-low volume method creates a fine mist that penetrates deep into every crack, crevice, and void where newly hatched nymphs might be hiding, ensuring we eliminate any bed bugs that emerged from eggs after the first treatment.

During summer months when you’re spending more time indoors with air conditioning running, we conduct a thorough inspection before this third treatment to verify complete elimination. If we find your bedroom clear of all live bed bugs and evidence, we issue a negative inspection report and activate your 60-day warranty, giving you complete confidence that your bed bug problem is resolved.
