Expert Stinging Insect Control Services for Tacoma Homes
As summer brings warmer weather to Tacoma, stinging insects like yellowjackets, wasps, and hornets become increasingly active around homes and businesses. We provide comprehensive stinging insect control services, from treating accessible nests in eaves and shrubs to handling more challenging situations like in-ground yellowjacket colonies and insects hidden in wall voids or attics. Our technicians use professional-grade products and protective equipment to safely neutralize nests, remove them when possible, and apply residual treatments to prevent returning foragers.
Whether you’re dealing with an active nest or want proactive protection as part of our All Seasons Protection Plan, we’ll keep your property safe from these aggressive pests throughout the season.
About us
When stinging insects invade your Tacoma property this Summer, PCI Pest Control delivers fast, effective solutions backed by our comprehensive All Seasons Protection Plans. We don’t just knock down visible nests and leave—we treat wall voids with professional-grade Tempo® Dust, apply residual barriers using Termidor® SC and Bithor® SC to prevent returning foragers, and remove neutralized nests when safely accessible.
Our technicians arrive in full protective gear to handle everything from accessible eaves and shrubs to challenging in-ground yellowjacket colonies and attic infestations throughout the Tacoma area. Whether you’re dealing with wasps building under your deck or hornets in your crawlspace, we combine knockdown treatments with long-lasting residual applications. Plus, our quarterly All Seasons Protection Plan (starting at just $52/month after a $275 initial service) includes free callback visits for stinging insects and 24 other common Pacific Northwest pests, so you’re covered all season long.
What sets us apart in Tacoma is our commitment to thorough, safe elimination—we locate every entrance, dust inaccessible voids, and provide clear safety guidance since some forager activity may persist up to 72 hours post-treatment. We also offer carpenter bee prevention services using borate wood treatments, and our 25% discount on non-covered treatments means you save money when unexpected pest issues arise between your regular quarterly visits.
