Our Process

Our Process: Expert Stinging Insect Control in Olympia

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our first step is a thorough inspection to diagnose the specific type of stinging insect you’re dealing with, as yellowjackets, wasps, and hornets all become active in Olympia during the summer.

We meticulously search for nests in common summertime locations such as under eaves, within wall voids, or even in-ground nests which are frequently found in local yards as the weather warms up in August.

We treat pests where they live

Our second step is to apply treatment directly to the stinging insects where they live and nest. For example, we apply knockdown dusts to accessible nests in your eaves, use a specialized dust and liquid combination for in-ground yellowjacket nests, or perform a thorough void dusting for nests hidden inside walls.

We report our findings, and create a plan

After neutralizing the stinging insect threat, we provide a detailed report of our findings and document all treatments applied to your Olympia property. We then establish an ongoing post-treatment monitoring plan to ensure yellowjackets and wasps don’t return during August peak nest-building season, when Pacific Northwest colonies are rapidly expanding and foragers are most active around homes.
