About us

Lacey's trusted local experts for stinging insect removal.

When stinging insects invade your Lacey property this Summer, PCI Pest Control delivers fast, effective solutions backed by our comprehensive All Seasons Protection Plans. We don’t just knock down visible nests and leave—we treat wall voids with professional-grade Tempo Dust, apply residual barriers using Termidor SC and Bithor SC to prevent returning foragers, and physically remove neutralized nests when accessible. Whether you’re dealing with yellowjackets burrowing into your lawn, wasps building under eaves, or hornets hidden in your attic insulation, our bee-suited technicians handle every scenario safely and thoroughly.

What sets us apart in Lacey is our commitment to complete elimination, not temporary fixes. For in-ground yellowjacket nests, we combine knockdown dust with liquid residuals and offer optional excavation if activity persists. When colonies hide in wall voids or crawlspaces, we perform thorough void dusting and can open access points with your permission to ensure total treatment. Our customers on the All Seasons Protection Plan enjoy free callback visits for covered pests, including stinging insects, plus 25% off any non-covered treatments—giving you year-round peace of mind as August brings increased insect activity across the Pacific Northwest.

Our Process

Our Process: Expert Stinging Insect Removal in Lacey

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our process begins with a detailed inspection of your Lacey property to diagnose the specific threat, as wasps and yellowjackets become more active with the arrival of August’s warmer weather.

We will identify the exact species and locate their nest, whether it is visible under an eave, hidden in a shrub, or concealed within a wall void.

We treat pests where they live

We then apply specialized treatments directly into the nest where the stinging insects live and breed. For example, we may use a knockdown dust for an accessible nest in your eaves or apply a combination of dust and liquid residual into an in-ground yellowjacket nest.

We report our findings, and create a plan

After neutralizing the stinging insect threat, we provide a detailed report of our findings and document all treatments applied to your Lacey property. We then establish an ongoing post-treatment monitoring plan to ensure yellowjackets and wasps don’t return during August peak nest-building season, when Pacific Northwest colonies are rapidly expanding and new queens are actively searching for nesting sites around your home.
