About us

Local experts committed to protecting your Tacoma home.

When Summer arrives in Tacoma and mosquitoes start emerging, PCI Pest Control is ready with comprehensive solutions designed specifically for Pacific Northwest conditions. We offer two distinct mosquito control plans: our Standard Plan focuses on biological breeding-site station maintenance and standing water treatment, while our Plus Plan includes everything in Standard plus a fresh barrier spray at every monthly visit throughout the active mosquito season with complimentary callbacks for high activity.

What sets us apart is our multi-layered approach using EPA-registered adulticides, growth regulators, and slow-release larvicide stations that target mosquitoes at every life stage. We don’t just spray and leave. We inspect your property for breeding sites, treat standing water that can’t be removed, and apply low-volume mist treatments to vegetation and shaded harborage areas where mosquitoes rest during the day.

Our treatments are family and pet-friendly once dried in about 60 minutes, and our barrier sprays bond to foliage even after moderate rainfall. For Tacoma residents planning outdoor events this August, we also offer one-time services applied 24-48 hours before your gathering to ensure your yard is mosquito-free when it matters most.

Our Process

Our Process: Effective Mosquito Control for Tacoma Homes

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our process begins with a comprehensive exterior inspection of your Tacoma property, where we identify potential mosquito habitats that flourish during the wet summer months, such as standing water in clogged gutters, birdbaths, and under decks.

During this initial visit, we treat any standing water that cannot be removed and strategically place biological breeding-site stations to start eliminating larvae and sterilizing adults right at the source.

We treat pests where they live

We directly target areas where mosquitoes live and breed by treating standing water and installing biological breeding-site stations. For example, we apply a barrier mist to foliage, shaded zones, and under decks where adult mosquitoes rest during the day.

We report our findings, and create a plan

After completing our thorough mosquito treatment in Tacoma, we document all findings in a detailed service report for your records. This third step includes noting the specific breeding sites we treated around your property, the barrier spray applications we performed to your landscaping and shaded areas where August mosquitoes typically rest during Tacoma’s increasingly warm summer days, and our recommendations for maintaining a mosquito-free yard as we head into the peak season. We then establish your ongoing post-treatment schedule with monthly visits throughout the active mosquito season, ensuring we refresh your biological breeding-site stations and reapply barrier treatments before the Pacific Northwest’s summer mosquito activity reaches its height.
