About us

We are your local experts for Lakewood mosquito control.

When Summer arrives in Lakewood, WA, mosquitoes emerge as one of the most persistent outdoor nuisances. At PCI Pest Control, we’ve developed a comprehensive mosquito management system that goes beyond simple barrier sprays. Our approach combines biological breeding-site stations with targeted treatments to standing water, ensuring we address the problem at its source rather than just treating the symptoms.

What sets us apart is our two-tier service model designed specifically for Pacific Northwest conditions. Our Standard Plan focuses on long-term population control through strategic breeding-site station maintenance, while our Plus Plan adds fresh barrier spray applications at every monthly visit throughout the active mosquito season. For homeowners planning outdoor events this August, we also offer one-time treatments applied 24-48 hours before your gathering, using EPA-registered adulticides and growth regulators that bond to foliage and remain effective even after moderate rainfall.

We understand that Lakewood families want effective pest control without compromising safety. That’s why all our mosquito treatments are family and pet-friendly once dried, typically within 60 minutes. Our technicians take the time to inspect your property, identify harborage areas under decks and in shaded zones, and provide you with a detailed habitat checklist so you understand exactly what we’re doing and why it works.

Our Process

Our Process: Effective Mosquito Control for Lakewood Homes

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our process begins with a thorough inspection of your Lakewood property, where we identify potential mosquito breeding grounds created by the summer rains, such as standing water in clogged gutters, birdbaths, and under decks.

This initial diagnosis allows us to immediately treat existing standing water sources and strategically place biological breeding-site stations to control the mosquito population right from the start.

We treat pests where they live

We apply targeted treatments to eliminate mosquitoes where they live and breed, using a combination of biological larvicides and EPA-registered adulticides to disrupt their life cycle. For example, we apply a low-volume barrier mist to common harborage areas like foliage and under decks, while also treating any standing water that cannot be removed.

We report our findings, and create a plan

After completing our mosquito treatment in Lakewood, we provide a detailed report of our findings and establish an ongoing post-treatment plan. We document all breeding sites treated, barrier spray coverage areas, and the placement of biological larvicide stations, while noting any persistent moisture issues common to Lakewood’s August rainfall patterns that could encourage future mosquito activity. Our monthly maintenance visits through August ensure your property stays protected during peak mosquito season, with fresh barrier applications and breeding-site station servicing that adapts to the wet summer conditions typical of the Pacific Northwest.
