About us

We are Tacoma's dedicated team for carpet beetle control.

When carpet beetles invade your Tacoma home this Summer, PCI Pest Control delivers the thorough, guaranteed treatment you need. We don’t just spray and leave—our comprehensive approach includes a detailed inspection to locate the source (often hidden in wall voids, closets, or under appliances), targeted treatment of all active areas, and a re-treat guarantee to ensure complete elimination.

What sets us apart in the Tacoma area is our flexibility and value. Carpet beetle treatment is included in our All Seasons Insect Plan, All Seasons Protection Plan, and All Seasons Protection Plan Plus—or available as a standalone service for $325. For example, if you’re already dealing with the ants and spiders common to Pacific Northwest homes this August, our protection plans cover carpet beetles along with all other common PNW pests, giving you year-round peace of mind with free callback visits.

We understand that carpet beetles often appear as a secondary issue following rodent activity, which is why our experienced technicians investigate thoroughly to address root causes, not just symptoms. Our Tacoma customers appreciate that we use EPA-registered products that are family and pet-friendly once dried, and we back our work with solid guarantees—because your home deserves more than a temporary fix.

Our Process

Our Process: Effective Carpet Beetle Treatment in Tacoma

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our first step for carpet beetle treatment in Tacoma begins with a comprehensive inspection to diagnose the infestation’s source, as pest activity often surges during the mild Pacific Northwest summer.

We meticulously investigate potential breeding grounds like closets, wall voids, and under appliances for infested wool, stored foods, or even hidden rodent nests, which are a common primary cause.

We treat pests where they live

We apply a thorough treatment to all active rooms and other interior areas as needed, directly targeting the places where carpet beetles live. For example, we treat inside wall voids, cupboards, under appliances, and within closets to eliminate the pests at their source.

We report our findings, and create a plan

In the third step of our carpet beetle treatment process, we provide a detailed report of our findings, including the source of the infestation (often linked to rodent activity common in Tacoma’s older homes) and any conducive conditions we discovered during our August inspection. We then establish an ongoing post-treatment monitoring plan to ensure carpet beetles don’t return as summer temperatures rise and these pests become more active in wall voids, stored fabrics, and areas where organic debris accumulates.

Service Types

We Offer Residential & Commercial Pest Control Options In Tacoma

Whether you need pest control for your home or business, we have you covered.

Residential pest control Tacoma

Our carpet beetle treatment in Tacoma starts at $325 for a comprehensive one-time service, or it’s included as part of our All Seasons Insect Plan, All Seasons Protection Plan, or All Seasons Protection Plan Plus. We often find carpet beetles as a secondary pest issue, typically following rodent activity, and they tend to hide in wall voids, cupboards, under appliances, in stored clothing, and throughout closets where they feed on natural fibers. During treatment, we conduct a thorough inspection to locate the source of the infestation (whether it’s in garments, carpeting, or stored materials), then apply targeted residual insecticides to active rooms and treat the rest of your interior as needed, and we back our work with a re-treat guarantee to ensure complete elimination.

Commercial pest control Tacoma

We provide comprehensive carpet beetle treatment for Tacoma’s commercial properties, including restaurants, office buildings, warehouses, retail stores, and hospitality facilities. Our approach starts with a thorough inspection to locate the source of the infestation, whether it’s in storage areas, break rooms, or hidden wall voids, then we apply targeted treatments to active areas while investigating the root cause, such as stored materials, fabrics, or secondary pest issues. With Tacoma’s mix of historic buildings and modern commercial spaces near the waterfront and downtown corridor, we understand how carpet beetles can threaten inventory, reputation, and employee comfort, which is why we include a re-treatment guarantee and can integrate ongoing protection into our commercial pest management plans.
