Our Process

Our Process: Effective Boxelder Bug Control in Tumwater

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our process begins with a comprehensive inspection of your Tumwater property to diagnose the boxelder bug problem, which is critical during August as they emerge from their overwintering sites.

We meticulously examine sun-exposed exterior walls, window sills, and door frames to identify where they congregate and find the specific entry points they use to get inside your home.

We treat pests where they live

We apply targeted treatments directly where boxelder bugs live and overwinter. For example, our technicians apply residual liquid insecticides to the exterior foundation, sunny south-facing walls, and around window frames where they gather, and we may also dust inside wall voids to eliminate hidden populations.

We report our findings, and create a plan

After completing our thorough treatment, we document all findings and provide a detailed report of the boxelder bug activity discovered around your Tumwater property. We then establish an ongoing monitoring plan—crucial during periods of rising temperatures when pest activity spikes—ensuring your home remains protected as boxelder bugs emerge from their hidden nesting areas and begin congregating on sun-exposed surfaces throughout the Pacific Northwest.
