Our Process

Our Process: Expert Boxelder Bug Control in Olympia

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our first step is a comprehensive inspection of your Olympia property to diagnose the boxelder bug problem, which often becomes noticeable as they emerge during the warmer days of August.

We meticulously examine the sunny south and west-facing exterior walls, window frames, and attic spaces where these pests congregate in the summer, identifying all potential entry points and conducive conditions around your home.

We treat pests where they live

Our second step involves a targeted treatment application where Boxelder bugs congregate and seek shelter. For example, we apply a residual insecticide to the sunny exterior walls of your Olympia home where they gather, as well as to cracks and crevices around windows and doors to prevent them from entering.

We report our findings, and create a plan

After completing treatment, we document all findings and create a customized maintenance plan for your Olympia property. Given that boxelder bugs often seek shelter during August warming temperatures before becoming more active in late summer, we establish a monitoring schedule that anticipates their seasonal patterns and prevents future congregations around your home’s sun-exposed areas.

We Offer Residential & Commercial Pest Control Options In Olympia

Whether you need pest control for your home or business, we have you covered.

Residential pest control Olympia

Our boxelder bug control service in Olympia targets these seasonal invaders with a comprehensive approach that keeps them from taking over your home during their peak summer activity. We use a combination of residual liquid insecticides applied to your home’s exterior foundation, entry points, and common gathering areas, along with targeted interior treatments when needed to eliminate bugs that have already made their way inside. For example, we focus on south-facing walls, window frames, and siding where boxelder bugs congregate in large numbers seeking warmth.

Our treatment includes a thorough inspection to identify harborage sites and potential entry points, followed by strategic application of professional-grade products that provide lasting protection. We also offer recommendations for exclusion work like sealing gaps and cracks to prevent future invasions.

This service is included in our All Seasons Protection Plan (ASPP), All Seasons Insect Plan (ASIP), and All Seasons Protection Plan Plus (ASPP+), which means you get free callback visits if boxelder bugs return between your regular quarterly services.

Commercial pest control Olympia

We protect Olympia’s commercial properties from boxelder bug invasions with targeted treatments designed for the Pacific Northwest climate. Our team services office buildings, retail spaces, warehouses, restaurants, and multi-unit residential complexes throughout the area, understanding how these seasonal pests congregate on sun-exposed walls throughout summer before seeking indoor shelter. We combine exterior perimeter treatments with crack-and-crevice applications at entry points, then provide ongoing monitoring through our commercial maintenance plans to keep your business boxelder-free year-round.
