Our Process

Our Process: Effective Boxelder Bug Control in Lakewood

We pride ourselves on a simple, straight forward no-frills process.

You call, we inspect and diagnose

Our process begins with a comprehensive inspection of your Lakewood property, specifically looking for how boxelder bugs are taking advantage of the summer weather in August.

We will identify clusters of these pests sunning themselves on south or west-facing walls and pinpoint potential entry points like gaps in siding, damaged window screens, or unsealed utility penetrations that they use to get inside.

We treat pests where they live

Next, we apply a targeted treatment to the areas where boxelder bugs live and congregate on your property. For example, this includes applying a residual product to the exterior siding where they gather and treating cracks, crevices, and wall voids to eliminate any pests that have moved inside.

We report our findings, and create a plan

After completing our thorough treatment, we document all findings and create a detailed report of the boxelder bug activity we discovered around your Lakewood property. We then establish an ongoing monitoring plan that’s especially important during August when these pests become increasingly active as temperatures warm and they seek out sunny exterior walls and potential entry points into your home.

Service Types

We Offer Residential & Commercial Pest Control Options In Lakewood

Whether you need pest control for your home or business, we have you covered.

Residential pest control Lakewood

We tackle boxelder bug invasions in Lakewood with targeted treatments that address both active infestations and future prevention. Our technicians apply residual liquid insecticides to exterior foundations, entry points, and sunny areas where boxelder bugs congregate, while also treating interior baseboards and window frames where they’ve already entered. For example, we focus heavily on south-facing walls and around windows during summer when boxelder bugs seek shelter sites, and we combine this with exclusion recommendations like sealing gaps and cracks to keep them from returning season after season.

Commercial pest control Lakewood

We protect Lakewood’s commercial properties from boxelder bug invasions with targeted treatments designed for the unique needs of local businesses. Our approach includes thorough exterior perimeter applications and strategic interior treatments for offices, warehouses, retail spaces, restaurants, and multi-unit buildings where these seasonal pests tend to congregate in large numbers. We focus on entry point treatment and residual barriers that keep boxelder bugs from disrupting your operations, especially during their peak summer activity when they’re most likely to invade structures seeking shelter.
